SCT’s truck fleet gets upgrade to meet increased business

November 1, 2017

SCT has undertaken a planned upgrade of its truck fleet over the past 12 months, in Sydney, Brisbane and Horsham. SCT are always on the front foot, to not only meet their customers’ immediate requirements, but to be ready for future growth from a wide and diverse customer base.

With an increase in freight movements in Horsham and Sydney it has been a major project ensuring that SCT continues to service our customers with the highest quality vehicles and latest technology.

All of the new fleet is equipped with safety features including EBS/ABS, roll stability, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, and driver and passenger air bags. The trucks are also equipped with driver comfort features, like seat warmers, high quality driver’s air ride seats, fridges and integrated day cab sleepers, all of which have been welcomed and endorsed by the drivers. A total of 37 new Prime Movers including DAF, Scania and Mercedes Benz have been deployed across our Bromelton, Sydney – Parkes and Horsham operations.
